Mr. G’s pizzeria & Pasta in Diamond Bar

I want to give a shout and a BIG THANK YOU to Mr. G’s pizzeria & Pasta in Diamond Bar. (http://www.mrgspizzeria.net).

On Saturday January 17, 2014 MOMS Club of Diamond held their first preschool information fair/fundraiser.

The event went from 1:15pm to 4:15pm.

It was around 2pm that a pizza was being delivered. The question at that moment was who ordered it? No one did. To our surprise  it was being donated by Mr. G’s pizza. The owner himself (Sam) was who delivered it.

He said that he saw or ad in the local Windmill about the fundraiser and knows that we (MOMS Club) do good things for the community and he wanted to give back to the community also as he often does.

What a wonderful gesture and kindness this man showed. It was really great too, I think the volunteers all working were getting hungry.

Personally I never had time to eat, and I was still full from my lunch I had right before the event. But it was  shared among everyone and
was very much enjoyed.

On my way home I stopped by Mr. G’s pizzeria & Pasta. I placed an order to go for the family for dinner. Sam was there and he recognized
me from the event. We chatted a little and he was so kind and nice. He didn’t make me feel like a customer, more like a longtime friend.

One of the ladies at the event told me they had garlic knots. It wasn’t on the menu and it sounded so good.   When [lacing  my order I asked for them. Sure enough they had them, and oh my goodness. I think I ate half of them before I even got home. Ok ok probably more than that, but I did have to save some for the hubby. Someone else mentioned the Korean BBQ Chicken pizza. So of course I wanted to try that. That too   was very delicious. My husband who prefers red sauce on his pizza did agree it was a good pizza too.

If you get a chance stop on by to Mr. G’s pizzeria & Pasta. I’m telling you, you won’t be disappointed. Everything I ordered was
great. When you stop by tell them JAC sent you ;) or you can just say you heard about them through MOMS Club.

Thank you again, Sam. It was a generous surprise and a pleasure to meet you at the preschool fair. I will definitely be stopping by to try the BBQ Korean pizza and garlic knots!

A few months ago MOMS Club had a fundraiser at the yogurt place right by Mr. G’s, and since the fundraiser began late morning (right before lunch), many of us went to Mr. G’s right after to grab lunch. It was funny because it was like a domino effect – someone ordered something there first, another person saw it and said, “that looks good” and went in to order something, and it went on like that one by one until everyone had gotten something! The food was really good that time and I definitely want to try them again especially after seeing Sam’s generosity.

We like Mr. G’s. I find the new owners run the place more efficiently and remembers their customers. The food is good too.
