Her name is Mercedes and she was just adorable. I went to 85°C Bakery Cafe today to splurge on my daughter and grandkids. I was going out to visit them and wanted something more than just donuts.
If you have never been to 85°C Bakery Cafe , you should really go. So many choices to choose from and so many tasty items.
The fun part is you grab a tray, put a liner on it, get tongs and you walk around looking at all the yummy items. When you see something to your liking you lift the plastic cover to the case and take out what you want and place it upon your tray.
As I walked around several times, thinking what everyone might like, I piled my tray with many choices, hoping they would each find something they would enjoy.
After my selections I went and stood in line. I was waited upon quickly. Again her name was Mercedes, she was very sweet (no pun intended) and very kind. Though I know she was doing her job, but she made me feel like more than J.A.C (Just a customer). The sincerity of a smile and kindness can go a long way.
Leaving there I felt great, I know I will be back. Not only for the delicious breads and food they have but for the customer service they portrayed.
I wonder sometimes if I should give a 5 star rating on places. Sometimes though some places deserve way more, such as today.
What are your thoughts, should I start doing the “Star” rating?? Thanks for your comments.
